Embark on a journey into the realm of somatic intelligence with Majica Alba. This workshop is designed for therapists seeking to deepen their clinical practice by integrating movement and physical exploration.
About the Workshop:
Come play in the rich tapestry of the somatic experience offered by 5Rhythms®. In this playshop, we will explore ways to attune ourselves physically to the experiences of our clients. Beyond traditional talk therapy, you'll discover how to integrate movement and embodiment as powerful tools in your therapeutic toolkit.
What to Expect:
-
Somatic Attunement: Immerse yourself in the language of the body, learning to attune to the subtleties of your own and your clients' somatic experiences.
-
Tools for Your Practice: Gain practical techniques to incorporate the body as a dynamic and insightful tool in your therapeutic sessions.
-
Dynamic Exploration: Explore the 5Rhythms® - Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness - as gateways to understanding and unlocking the depths of the human psyche. And time permitting, we will discuss the shadows of the practice.
Who Should Attend:
This workshop is tailored for therapists, counselors, and healing professionals looking to expand their therapeutic repertoire. No dance experience is required. If you have a body, you can do this class.
What to Bring:
-
Wear clothes you can move easily in.
-
A Water Bottle.
-
Your courageous self.
