Dear Potential Clients....
You Don’t Have to Carry It All Alone.
Have you spent years feeling like you have to keep it together? Like you’re always the strong one, the peacemaker, the caretaker. Underneath it all, you might be longing for a place to be seen, to explore the unsaid, and unexpressed aspects of your internal self; a space where you don’t have to perform or pretend anymore.
I believe therapy can be that place.
My Philosophy
Life is complex and is not meant to be faced alone. Our modern culture can isolate us and leave us feeling overwhelmed and disconnected. I believe that therapy can be a regenerative space that can support the reestablishment and cultivation of satisfying connection.
Together, we can explore the patterns and beliefs that have shaped you, and gently begin to understand how your early relationships, life experiences, and culture have influenced the way you move through the world today.
I trust in your innate capacity for healing. Even when it doesn’t feel possible, change can happen. With support, you can learn to relate to yourself and others in new ways, more connected, more authentic, and more free.
My Approach
My work is integrative, blending relational and evidence-based therapies to meet you where you are. I draw from attachment-based therapy, psychodynamic exploration, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic experiencing principles, and cognitive and behavioral strategies when helpful.
This means sessions may include:
-
Exploring early experiences and how they show up in the present
-
Gently reconnecting with parts of you that carry pain or protect you from it
-
Practicing tools to feel safer in your body and more grounded in daily life
-
Learning new ways to respond to thoughts and emotions with compassion
I also welcome collaboration with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care when needed.
